Former Sooner Baker Mayfield Signed As Quarterback For Tampa Bay

Baker Mayfield, player for the University of Oklahoma class of 2017, has signed to be the starting quarterback for Tampa Bay.

Mayfield, 28, is succeeding Tom Brady, and beat Kyle Trask for the job.

This is Mayfield's fourth team in three years, following the Los Angeles Rams, the Carolina Panthers and the Cleveland Browns.

Mayfield has signed on for one year and $8.5 million.

Mayfield will play his first game in this new role September 10th against the Vikings.
