Newcastle Building New Sports Complex

The City of Newcastle is constructing a new sports complex to replace an existing area along Highway 130 near Highway 76.

This project will expand the current grass to incorporate turf as well as picnic areas, walking trails, and more than 500 parking spots.

In 2022, the city was awarded a $1.3 million grant to pay for the expense.
