Man Arrested, Accused Of Stealing From Resident After Shawnee Tornado

Shawnee Police arrested a man accused of stealing from a resident who had just lost everything during the April 19th EF-2 tornado.

Police said they saw two people making off with a wagon full of copper wire, a backpack and a bicycle pump.

After learning the items were stolen, police booked David Teater on burglary and stolen property complaints.
