Hazmat Crews Respond To SE OKC Chemical Spill

Hazmat crews responded to a chemical spill Thursday morning at a business near South Sunnylane Road and I-240 in Oklahoma City.

Oklahoma City Fire Department officials on scene said two different chemicals used to make plastic containers were incorrectly mixed, prompting the response from OKCFD.

Employees were removed from the area while the spill was cleaned up.

All operations are expected to resume as normal following cleanup.
