Rogers County Man Sentenced For Child Abuse, Neglect

A Rogers County man has been sentenced to six consecutive life sentences on half a dozen child abuse and neglect charges.

Gustus Pennington admitted to beating his girlfriend's 3-year-old daughter with a piece of wood multiple times.

He also made her wear a dog shock collar and stand in cold showers for long periods of time.

Last week, the girl's mother, Jeannette Williams, was sentenced to life in prison for enabling and participating in the girl's abuse.
