2 Killed, 1 Injured In Rollover Crash In SW OKC

Three people were transported to a local hospital after a rollover crash that happened at around 7:15 p.m. Thursday night, authorities said.

Authorities responded to the crash on the westbound lanes of I-240 near South May Avenue.

Investigators said two vehicles were involved, one of the which blew a tire, causing the driver to lose control. That vehicle collided with the second vehicle, causing it to roll over and strike a pole nearby.

The Oklahoma Highway patrol said the driver of the second vehicle, 39-year-old Ronnie Friar, and one of the passengers, 37-yearold Lisa Lewis, were transported to the hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

Another passenger in the second vehicle, an unidentified 5-year-old boy, was also injured in the crash.

No one in the first vehicle had any injuries.
