Ardmore Man Pleads Guilty In Deadly Sept. 2022 Crash Near Purcell

An Oklahoma man pleaded guilty Wednesday to second-degree murder charges stemming from a deadly crash last September.

Kevin Bruce McGuire, 60, made the plea and faces up to life in prison and a $250,000 fine.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, McGuire was headed northbound in the southbound lanes of Interstate 35 and struck another vehicle head-on, killing Tyler Piazza, 28.

Court records indicate that McGuire had six previous felony DUI convictions.
