An arrest warrant related to controlled dangerous substances was issued for 41-year-old Devin Kiser, Aaron Brilbeck, a spokesperson for OCSO, said.

Once Kiser saw the warrant, he took off prompting a pursuit near MacArthur Boulevard, said Sheriff Tommie Johnson.

"During the pursuit, it was noted that the individual was throwing out baggies of white powdery substance. Not able to determine what that was at this point in time," Johnson said.

Johnson said no one was hurt during the chase and credited his investigators.

"When you listen to the radio traffic, they are very aware of the speeds. The speeds got up to 65. They were also mindful of the traffic flow. Traffic flow was low to mild," Johnson said.

The pursuit ended in front of the Oklahoma County Detention Center, where the suspect was arrested.

"As crazy as it sounds, that's where it ended up," Johnson said.

News 9 saw investigators collect bags of evidence from the suspect's SUV.

The sheriff's office said investigators were still working to determine the nature of the items collected.

Michael Richard Danner, 41, was also inside the vehicle during the pursuit, Brilbeck said.

Danner got out of the SUV where Warr Acres Police said they were able to arrest Danner.

However, Danner was not listed in the Oklahoma County Detention Center as of 3:51 p.m., according to the jail's communication director, so it was unclear if he would face charges related to the pursuit.

As for Kiser, he was facing nine charges:

Fail to appear – Receive, possess or conceal stolen property

Fail to appear - Receive, possess or conceal stolen property

Fail to appear – Possession of controlled substance

Fail to appear – Possession of paraphernalia

New Charge – Eluding police officer

New Charge – Possession of controlled substance

New Charge – Destroying evidence

New Charge - Driving with license canceled, suspended or revoked

New Charge – Failure to maintain security
