Five burglars led Moore police on two separate high-speed chases after breaking into a pot grow facility, according to police.

Alarms sounded at Big City Growers in Moore, and at the owner's home.

"I got a phone notification, like an amber alert," Big City Growers Owner, Terry Trompeter, said.

Those alarms alerted Terry that a handful of people were inside his grow facility just before 1 a.m. Tuesday. Terry called Moore police, his alarm system contacted them as well, all while the burglars ripped through the building in minutes.

"It's kind of frustrating because it's not them paying for the stuff they tear up." Trompeter said, "it was probably about $2,000 or $3,000 in damage. They took the waste, which is unusable product that was going to waste."

The five burglars scattered just as police arrived. They split into two separate cars and headed in different directions. One headed into a nearby neighborhood, police stopped that car with a tactical maneuver.

Oklahoma Highway Patrol and Oklahoma City Police had a hand in arresting two more suspects after the second chase came to a stop on I-35. Police also used a tactical maneuver there, too. Investigators said they found pot in both cars; one had a crowbar that matched one seen in the security footage. Trompeter said he's happy he made one last minute decision before he shut down for the night.

"Our office camera burned out and it's been burned out for a week or two, so I stayed a little late last night [and] changed the camera out and got it working. Glad I stayed and fixed it instead of putting it off for another day," Trompeter said.

If you have any information on the 5th person involved, call Moore police.
