Cooking expert Sassy Mama shows us how to make a delicious peach cobbler and crust.
Ingredients:
Peach Cobbler
5 cups of sliced peaches
1/4 cup sugar
1 teaspoon cinnamon
2 teaspoons cinnamon
2 teaspoons melted butter
Fresh lemon juice or Fruit fresh
Crust
2 cups flour
1 1/4 cup sugar
1 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1 stick butter, melted
Directions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray a 9X9-inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
Pour the peaches into the baking pan and sprinkle with sugar.
Add the melted butter, cinnamon & vanilla. Stir together in the pan in a large bowl.
Combine all of the crust dry ingredients. Sprinkle the flour mixture over the top of the peaches.
Gently smooth until it is flat. Bake in the oven at 400 degrees for 45 minutes.
Lower the heat to 375 degrees and continue to cook for 45 minutes or until crust is golden brown.
Serve warm with your favorite vanilla ice cream.
