Governor Stitt Appoints John Nash To Serve As Secretary Of Military & Veterans Affairs

Oklahoma Governor Kevin Stitt has appointed an Army veteran to serve as Oklahoma's next Secretary of Military and Veterans Affairs.

John Nash graduated from the University of Oklahoma and became an Army Officer. He graduated from Ranger and Airborne schools and served for more than ten years in special operations roles, with several tours in Afghanistan and Iraq.

Nash also serves as an advisor to the Edmond police SWAT team.

The state senate must confirm Nash's appointment.
