Did you peek into the Oklahoma sky Monday night? Did you see a strange spiral like thousands of your fellow Oklahomans?

Meteorologist Clint Boone has the answer for you as to what it was -- and, no, it was not an Unidentified Flying Object.

Turns out, it was a satellite. Clint explained further on his Facebook page.

"It is a satellite that was launched from the Space X Falcon 9 rocket," he said.

After three weather delays and a scrub Sunday due to a wayward cruise ship, a SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket finally blasted off Monday on its fifth try, putting on a spectacular sunset sky show as it climbed toward orbit, dropping off its first stage booster along the way for a fiery descent to touchdown at the Cape Canaveral Space Force Station, CBS News reported.

Meteorologist Lacey Swope shared several photos from viewers around the state who spotted the strange occurrence.

Oklahomans all across Green Country saw the spiral and posted to social media about it.

This is SpaceX's 104th successful launch and its 22nd in Florida.
