Sex Offender Arrested At An Edmond Trampoline Park Gets Trial Date Set

A registered sex offender, arrested in November at a trampoline park in Edmond, has a trial set for March.

The sex offender, Doug Davis, had his hearing Tuesday morning that set the trial date.

In 2009, Davis was convicted of raping a 15-year-old girl.

Davis was a youth minister at a metro church in 2010 prior to his rape conviction, where an affidavit stated he sent explicit text messages to a teen.

In November 2021, he was arrested after hosting a children's party with dozens of kids at a trampoline park in Edmond.

In his Oklahoma County court hearing on Tuesday following November's events, the judge did not revoke Davis' bond, but has ordered Davis to wear an ankle monitor starting Tuesday.
