Our wintry mix is coming to end as the arctic air continues to move into central Oklahoma.

Temperatures will continue to fall into the teens and 20s Saturday afternoon. Skies will remain cloudy with wind chills falling below zero.

Our next wave of energy arrives this evening with a band of light snow. This will mainly produce less than an inch of snow, but there could be a band that could fluff up to two to three inches.

Very dry fluffy snow with the arctic air in place, so it will blow around and cause slick roadways. The confidence level of getting at least a covering here in the metro is increasing.

Dangerous wind chills overnight as skies clear out Sunday morning.
