Augusta McDonnell is live from the site of Kentucky’s tornado disaster. In this video, learn how Kentucky education officials are using experiences from Moore’s tornado disasters to hasten their recovery.


Guests include Moore Superintendent Robert Romines and Mayfield Schools Director of Pupil Personnel Kelly Stinson regarding how Moore walked through the aftermath of the 2013 tornado that killed seven of their students and destroyed two elementary schools.

While Mayfield Schools did not lose structures, they are facing a long road ahead as the community recovers from devastating losses among their students and staff.
