The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said a collision caused a partial shutdown of Interstate 40 Friday afternoon.

The collision happened just after 1 p.m. on the eastbound lanes of I-40 just west of South Rockwell Avenue.

According to OHP, a pickup truck struck a U-Haul trailer.

One person was injured in the collision, but their condition is not yet known at this time.

All the westbound lanes of I-40 near Rockwell Avenue and Council Road are now open, but the eastbound traffic has been narrowed to one lane.

This is a developing story.
