OKLAHOMA CITY -

A transitional center for men getting out of prison needs major help after seeing massive damage from Friday's severe weather.

The OKC Dream Center was supposed to open Monday. Ten men needing help were supposed to move in, but after last Friday's severe storms they're picking up the pieces and need a lot of help.

Here's a list of some things needed.

  1. Building Supplies (sheetrock, tape, mud, paint, paint brushes, electrical supplies, ceiling tiles, insulation, carpet, windows)
  2. Twin sized beds and bedding (mattresses, pillows, sheets)
  3. Nightstands
  4. Kitchen utensils (pots, pans, dishes, silverware, bakeware, etc)
  5. Furniture (couches, recliners, tv stands
  6. TV’s (32”)

More volunteers and skilled workers also are a big need as well.

The OKC Dream Center also found damage to other buildings on the property. In total they need around 50 thousand dollars for the damage insurance isn't going to cover.
