From Mustang to Clinton, Oklahomans are assessing the damages of multiple tornadoes.

“I don’t know it just kind of felt like the Wizard of Oz… It’s kind of like a scene out of Wizard of Oz it was scary,” said Brandee Yates whose home was damaged in Wednesday morning’s tornado.

The Yates family woke up to a flipped over truck, broken fence, and torn up roof.

“About 5:05-5:10 we were woken up by the sounds of things hitting the house, winds, and just lots of noise,” she said.

The family lives near Southwest 50th Street and Czech Hall.

“We jump out of bed, meet the kids in the living room because they were woken up to, and we all got in the closet with the dogs and just kind of hunkered down,” she said.

“Part of the roof and everything is hanging off. We don’t really see a lot of that around here, especially in Mustang we don’t get much hail here honestly.” Jacob Adams, who lives nearby said.

Over an hour northwest, more damage was found in Clinton.

“There is a lot, a lot of dollar damage here at the Clinton Airport,” said Jim Gardner, from above the scene in SkyNews9.

“I thought all was in the clear and then got the news there was some damage at the airport,” said Derek Grubb.

Grubb lives in Weatherford but has a family hangar in Clinton. He said two airplanes and a couple of vintage cars in mint condition were destroyed.

“The important thing is that nobody got hurt. They’re just things they can be replaced,” he said.

Thankfully no one was hurt. The families News 9 talked to are now focused on rebuilding and repairing.
