New Food Options On The Menu For This Year's State Fair

If you plan to attend the Oklahoma State Fair later this month, be sure to bring your sweet tooth with you.

The state fair announced new food options Thursday morning that is sure to please the kid in all of us.

Among the first-time offerings are a Deep Fried Cookie Dough Sundae, a Fruity Pebble Donut, a Giant S'more On-A-Stick Sampler and a Peaches and Cream Pie.

The fair will also present Gelato Nachos made up of "homemade stroopwafel chips, three flavors of gelato, your choice of two dessert sauces and three candy toppings, all topped with whipped cream" as well as a Cotton Candy Cookie Dough Crunch On-A-Stick comprised of a "homemade cookie dough on-a-stick, dipped in a cotton candy confetti crunch, and topped with whipped cream."

Both the Gelato Nachos and the Cotton Candy Cookie Dough Crunch On-A-Stick come courtesy of new fair vendor Funky Flamingo.

The fair will open Sept. 16 and last through Sept. 26 at the OKC Fairgrounds.
