A man was on a woman's porch late at night, and police said he wasn’t stealing a package. Officers are looking for him because they said he committed a lewd act.

“He exposed himself on her porch. She was able to observe this on her video doorbell system. He exposed himself and ultimately committed a lewd act,” said Sgt. Dillon Quirk with the Oklahoma City Police Department.

The police report states the victim “yelled at him” from inside. That’s when the man pulled up his pants and ran off.

“I think it is important for the public to know that if this incident has occurred, it is possible that it has happened in the past and it has the potential to happen again,” Quirk said.

The incident happened near Hefner and Council roads around 4 a.m. in May 2020.

“We ultimately want to get him identified, get him off the streets and take that potential away from happening again,” he said.

With only a few leads, Oklahoma City police posted the video again in hopes to identify the suspect and arrest him.

“Ultimately, it is going to be up to the investigators and the DA’s office, but we are looking at some lewd act charges,” said Quirk.

Investigators said the suspect is possibly 18 to 30 years old and about 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall.

Thankfully, police said no one was hurt. Over a year later, they said they need the public's help finding the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 405-235-7300.
