Midwest City police shot a man after he reportedly shot two firearms Friday at a gas station, police said.
The incident happened Friday in the 200 block of Air Depot Boulevard near Reno Avenue.
Police said officers approached a man who had a rifle and asked him to drop the weapon.
The man began firing the rifle until he ran out of ammunition. He tried to reload but officers Tasered him. The shock did not stop the man.
The man reportedly started shooting with a handgun while walking toward the gas station, police said.
One officer shot the man when he walked toward the gas station. The man tried to retrieve his gun and was shot again by the officer, police said.
The suspect was taken to a local hospital. His condition is not known at this time.
