Vehicle Fire Spreads To Home In Far NW OKC

Firefighters battled a house fire in far northwest Oklahoma City near Piedmont.

The fire was reported in the 13900 block of Northwood Village Drive near Northwest Expressway and Piedmont Road.

The fire reportedly started as a vehicle fire in the garage.

The Oklahoma City Fire Department said smoking materials in the garage were discarded improperly.

The vehicle was pulled out of the garage, but the fire had spread into the home.
