The heat is on again for your Friday! A cold front is lurking, but for most of us, we won't feel it until Saturday.
Look for dangerous heat this afternoon for your Friday. Highs today will climb into the 90s with heat index values ranging from 100 to 111 degrees.
Ahead of the cold front, storms are possible Friday evening and tonight. A few storms could be severe with large hail up to golf balls and damaging wind gusts.
There will be a threat for flash flooding, as well. Tonight’s lows will fall into the 60s and 70s.
Saturday will feel better. It won’t be as hot. Highs in the 80s and 90s are on the way.
