American Airlines To Begin Nonstop Flights From OKC To Austin In October

American Airlines announced Thursday that it will start service from Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport to Austin's Bergstrom International Airport this fall.

American Airlines announced Thursday that it will start service from Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport to Austin's Bergstrom International Airport this fall.

AA said the service would officially begin Oct. 7.

The once-daily service is scheduled to depart Austin daily at 4:20 p.m. before arriving at 5:51 p.m. at WRWA.

Return service would depart Oklahoma City at 6:30 p.m. and touch down in Austin at 8 p.m.

When the flights begin in October, the airline said it will bring the average of nonstop daily departures to 21 at WRWA.

Flights will officially go on sale June 14 on American Airlines' website.
