Hot Weather Continues In Central Oklahoma, Cold Front On The Horizon

Dangerous heat continues Thursday. Humidity will be high once again and that means heat index values from 100 to 111 this afternoon.

Look for partly cloudy skies and a light south breeze. Friday will be hot and humid as well with dangerous heat indices.

There will be a chance for storms ahead of our next cold front. Best chance for storms will be in north-central Oklahoma.

If storms form, they could be severe with hail, wind, and threats of flash floods. These storms will weaken as they move south into the night.

The cold front will lower the humidity and temperatures slightly into the weekend.
