Caught On Camera: Thai Restaurant In Del City Vandalized 4 Times, Police Searching For Suspects

Del City police are still looking for a man they believe vandalized a restaurant near Sooner Road and Southeast 29th Street.

Since mid-April, Tasty Thai has been vandalized four different times. Their owner said she believes their being targeted and it's hurt them not only financially, but also psychologically.

"My staff’s scared," said Lyn Detphong, Owner of Tasty Thai. "I mean every time they come to the restaurant in the morning, they say it's going to happen again the next day."

The business right next door captured video of the latest incident which happened last week. 

You can see a man in a blue shirt walk up and throw an item at the front of the restaurant and then run away. Del City police released a second video Tuesday showing the man walk along the sidewalk.

"We've received numerous tips on it and every tip that comes in we're having detective's follow-up on it," said Major Bradley Rule, with Del City Police Department.

During the first two incidents, the restaurant had their TV's, an iPad and even food stolen. The owner believes it's the same man, tied to the string of crimes.

"We have no evidence to say the same person is committing all of them," said Rule. 

The restaurant has boosted their security for now but said nothing like this has happened before and hopes police can find the suspect sooner rather than later.

"Even our neighbor next door is scared," said Detphong. "What happened? We've been here 3 years."
