After a pause due to the pandemic, Monster Jam makes its return to the Chesapeake Energy Arena this weekend.
Spectators will have five opportunities between Friday and Sunday to see the show live.
Dump truck loads of dirt cover the floor of the area. Mounded in the center of it all is what’s known as the “pod.”
The pod, made of packed dirt, includes varying levels of ramps each driver uses to deliver tricks and big air.
Monster trucks like Gravedigger, Megalodon and the Great Clips Mohawk Warrior will rev up the engines and compete for points.
There will be limited capacity at the arena and seating will be spaced. Masks are recommended for those attending.
Shows will be held Friday at 7 p.m., Saturday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m.
