Drizzle will develop Tuesday morning and then showers pick up in intensity.
Eventually, thunderstorms will become widespread by midday.
The overall severe threat on Tuesday is low, but stronger cells could produce hail! There will be a chance for pea and dime size hail across much of Oklahoma. Storms south of Interstate 40 could crank up quarter size hail.
The chance of storms goes up after 8 a.m. The highest chance for storms in Oklahoma City will be between 10 a.m. and noon Tuesday.
Now, let's talk about the cool temperatures. Highs Tuesday will only be in the 40s and low 50s. We may tie or break the record for the coolest high for May 11.
