Police said a man admitted to authorities he drove into the wrong building with the intentions of burglarizing a metro business Wednesday night.
Officers responded to a call after reports of a vehicle crashed into a building in the 7900 block of W. Hefner Rd.
Police said they also received calls of someone inside the building breaking items inside.
According to police, the unidentified suspect told police he meant to burglarize the business next door, a local smoke shop. He was taken into custody.
No one was injured in the crash. The business had major damage to the structure.
