Three men are facing several charges from murder, burglary and desecrating a human corpse after a man was found dead last month.
Jacob Montes, Jordy Olvera and Brayden Davis are all facing charges in connection with the death of 22-year-old Janouski Wells.
Wells was found dead in a northwest Oklahoma City apartment.
The affidavit said officers found Wells dead in a bedroom from what appeared to be gunshot wounds and stab wounds.
Officers also learned that Wells was receiving threats from Montes and Olvera leading up to his murder.
"They went into the living room window then into the victim's bedroom as he was asleep. They began to take items from the apartment. when the victim woke up. Montes shot the victim several times," according to the affidavit.
Police said Montes, Olvera and Davis left the scene with Wells' backpack but went back to the apartment.
The affidavit stated, "Olvera stole a bag and cell phone while Davis picked up casings from the earlier shooting. Davis gave Olvera the casings. Olvera cut the victim's finger off to gain access to the victim's phone."
Police said the next day, Davis was given the gun to get rid of.
While performing a search warrant, detectives found casings, knives and several other items at Olvera's apartment.
