Suspect Shot, Killed In Dewey County Standoff

A man has been shot and killed in a standoff that happened Wednesday afternoon in Dewey County, according to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

The man was a suspect whom U.S. Marshals were trying to serve with a warrant, troopers said. He ran from them and barricaded himself inside a house.

The suspect was later shot and killed, troopers said.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is beginning an investigation into what happened.
