Overnight Blackouts Possible, Stillwater Mayor Says

Stillwater's Mayor said overnight blackouts are possible.

In a social media post, Stillwater's Mayor Will Joyce confirmed to News 9's Storme Jones that the blackouts are possible between 10 p.m. Monday and 1 a.m. Tuesday morning.

"SPP hasn’t officially changed the alert level, but indicated it was likely to between 10 p.m. and 1 a.m.," Mayor Joyce said. Mayor Joyce also stated in a tweet that the "situation is fluid and we haven’t received confirmation at this time."

The mayor said they are attempting to give people as much notice as possible, but said the situation is unstable.
