The Oklahoma City-County Health Department said Wednesday’s COVID-19 vaccination clinic in Midwest City has been delayed because of the winter weather.

The OCCHD said so far, the plan is to move the clinic to March 10th.

Before the delay, the number of available doses was cut from 1,200 to 700 to keep lines in the bitter cold to a minimum.

If you had an appointment for Wednesday's clinic, the OCCHD said you’ll get a call from the city or the health department.

The OCCHD said there are 4,250 COVID-19 vaccination appointments available for later this week on OKCvax.com.

Patients can still make an appointment on Thursday and Saturday at Mercy. Vaccine appointments are also available at OU Health on Friday.

OU Health is holding a clinic on Saturday, but that’s only for second doses.

If those clinics also get canceled, patients will hear from the hospital or the health department.

The OCCHD said if a patient cancels their appointment, their not guaranteed a new one.
