Wheeler Labs To Hold Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing Before Christmas

Wheeler Labs will be holding drive-thru COVID-19 testing at OSU-OKC starting Monday morning.

The drive-thru testing will begin 9 a.m. and go until 12 p.m. The testing will follow that same schedule until Wednesday.

Wheeler Labs says everything will take place inside a person’s car.

They'll provide a kit with a full list of instructions for the saliva-based test, so a person can swab and then deposit the sample at an on-site collection drop box.

Wheeler labs is assuring that mostly everyone who takes one of these tests will get their results back before any holiday gatherings, making Christmas experience a much safer one.

“We want to enable everyone to test. Test everyone your planning on having around your dining room table or holiday event. That way you can safely visit your family, and you know they will still be around next year,” said April Stanly from Wheeler Labs.

The test itself is $125, and while there is no appointment necessary, Wheeler labs is advising to pre-pay online to speed up the process.

Alongside Christmas, Wheeler labs will also hold three days of testing next week as well, right before new years, following those same hours.
