Edmond police received a call early Tuesday morning from someone at the Coffee Creek Apartments who said she saw four people who were breaking into cars.

Edmond officials said there was an officer in the area who was able to initiate a pursuit with the suspects when they didn’t pull over.

The officer initiated a Tactical Vehicle Intervention (TVI) on the car, but the car was able to recover. So, the officer tried to initiate another, but that is when police said a suspect rolled down the window and shot seven times at the officers.

Finally, the four suspects turned down a dead end where officers were able to chase them down.

All four face a slew of charges and have been booked into the Oklahoma County Detention Center.
