Edmond Police said 4 people are in custody Tuesday morning after an overnight pursuit ended on the Kilpatrick Turnpike.

According to authorities, this started as an auto burglary at the Coffee Creek Apartments near Fretz Avenue and West 15th Street.

Police said the suspects led officers up and down Broadway and shots were fired at them near Broadway and Comfort Drive. No officers were hit.

The suspects bailed out of their vehicle and fled on the Kilpatrick Turnpike near North Eastern Avenue. Three suspects were quickly taken into custody and a perimeter was set up while police searched for the fourth suspect.

Edmond, Oklahoma City and the University of Oklahoma Police departments were all involved in this pursuit, as well as the Oklahoma Highway Patrol.

Edmond Police said UCOPD will help determine if any building were hit when shots were fired.

This is a developing story.
