The Oklahoma City Thunder said that it has signed first round pick Aleksej Pokuševski to a contract.

The signing was officially announced Wednesday morning. Terms of his contract were not released by the team.

Pokuševski, the 17th overall pick in the 2020 NBA Draft, was acquired by the Thunder as a part of a three-team trade that sent point guard Ricky Rubio as well as 2020's 25th (Kentucky point guard Immanuel Quickley) and 28th overall (University of Washington forward Jaden McDaniels) picks to the Minnesota Timberwolves.

The 7-footer averaged 10.8 points, 7.9 rebounds, 3.1 assists, 1.8 blocks and 1.3 steals in 11 games with Olympiacos B in the Greece's Second Division Heba A2 during the 2019-20 season.

Pokuševski's agent is Jason Ranne of the Wasserman Media Group. Ranne spent two years as the Thunder's Director of Strategic Planning from 2013 to 2015.

Pokuševski will turn 19 years old later this month.
