Oklahoma City Non-Profit Asks For Giving Tuesday Donations

This week marks giving Tuesday and Restore OKC is one non-profit hoping you can donate anything you can. They've partnered with Simple Modern to match the first $20,000 dollars. Restore OKC is hoping to use any funds raised to help bring food options to the Northeast side as well as educational opportunities.

It's the holiday season and also the season of giving.

Giving Tuesday happens this week and Restore OKC is one non-profit hoping you can donate anything you can. They've partnered with Simple Modern to match the first $20,000 dollars. Restore OKC is hoping to use any funds raised to help bring food options to the Northeast side as well as educational opportunities.

"We're hoping to open another hope center that can just be focused on Northeast OKC students." said Restore OKC Executive Director Caylee Dodson "With our kids having had effectively four days of in-person classes this year we know that this is going to be a critical ongoing need."

Restore OKC is in the process of opening a grocery stores and say it's still on track to open in early 2021.
