Police Identify Victim, Suspects In Deadly NW OKC Shooting

Police said a victim died following a shooting Thursday night in northwest Oklahoma City.

OCPD identified the victim as 23-year-old Nicholas Ross.

According to authorities, a drive-by shooting occurred in the parking lot at the MacArthur Apartments located in the 5700 block of NW 19th St.

Police said it took 28-year-old Saleem Abdullahi and 18-year-old Tamihus Cardwell into custody a short time later from a residence in Midwest City.

OCPD investigators said Ross was in an altercation with Abdullahi and Cardwell. During the altercation, Ross was shot in the chest.

Ross was taken to a local hospital in critical condition and later died from the injuries.
