2 Dead After Separate Shooting On Opposite Sides Of OKC Metro

Oklahoma City Police are investigating two deadly shootings on opposite sides of the city, while both of the gunmen are on the run.

OKLAHOMA CITY -

Oklahoma City Police are investigating two deadly shootings on opposite sides of the city, while both of the gunmen are on the run.

Officers said when they arrived to the scene, near Southwest 59th Street and South Independence Avenue around 9:15 p.m. Thursday, they found a Hispanic male dead.

About an hour earlier, OKC police were at Northwest 23rd Street and North MacArthur Boulevard investigating a deadly drive-by shooting.

Officers said when they arrived at the MacArthur Apartments, the victim was shot in the chest. They were rushed to the hospital in critical condition, where they later died.

The victim’s identities and suspect descriptions have not yet been released.
