The heat is on! Highs Monday will climb into the 90s and low 100s.
The air is very humid with dew point values in the lower and mid 70s. That means the heat index will be a factor Monday.
In Oklahoma City the temperature will feel up to 101 around 3 p.m.
Look for a windy day as well. South winds will gust 25 to 35 mph.
There will be a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms through midday. Highest chances will be in eastern Oklahoma.
Monday night will be breezy and clear with lows in the mid and upper 70s once again.
