4-Alarm Fire Destroys 2 Buildings In Downtown Oklahoma City

Fire officials received multiple 9-1-1 calls of a commercial structure fire at the 1800 Northwest 5th Street shortly after 3:45 p.m. Sunday.

The structure fire was located just west of Downtown Oklahoma City.

Firefighter officials said two metal buildings that stored flammable construction materials were destroyed. A neighboring third building was also lost.

According to fire officials, a neighboring ice machine business was saved but experienced exterior damage.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
