Crooks broke into a metro dispensary over the weekend and now it may be one of several pulled off by one of the suspects involved.
Around 4:45 a.m. Saturday, two suspects can be seen on security camera footage casing out the Herb’n Out dispensary before smashing the glass of the front door.
“They broke through the front doors, broke through the side doors, 37 seconds they were out,” said dispensary owner Jessy Rodgers.
In that 37 seconds, crystal clear images were taken by security cameras.
Both suspects got in and out so quick, they were unable to get away with a thing.
“It was definitely devastating, as soon as we got the phone call, we turned on the cameras and saw what was going on,” said Rogers. “All I saw was the front door, the glass broken out of it.”
A suspect who looked directly at the camera, dispensary owners believe, may match the description of another dispensary break-in that happened recently in Oklahoma City on 63rd Street.
A father himself, Rogers hopes teens think twice before ruining their life or potentially ending it.
“Make it simple, just don't with all the break-ins that are happening, people are buckling down anyways,” said Rogers. “They’re going to take matters into their own hands. I just wouldn't take a chance on it really.”
Police continue to investigate. News 9 will be sure to let you know if any arrests are made.
