OKLAHOMA CITY -- Say "goodbye" to the Sonics with the green and yellow uniforms. By 5 p.m. Wednesday, we'll know the name and team colors of the Oklahoma City NBA franchise.

Until then - everyone is speculating over the team's name. The anticipation is growing, and literally-- reaching new heights.

It started on Sunday, and since then, there's been a different billboard every day teasing us with possible names. In fact, the latest one just started running at 5 p.m.

So what does all the hype mean?

The shelves at the NBA store are bare, the racks are empty and even the boxes don't reveal a thing.

At the Buffalo Wild Wings on Northwest Expressway fans weighed in with their predictions.

There is an image floating around the internet claiming to bare the team's name. The picture appeared on a sports blog, and was linked to several other sites on the Internet.

The unconfirmed Oklahoma City Thunder logo was printed on a basketball.

The team is staying tightlipped, but not a different source.

Bill Condon is with Lamar Advertising, the company who owns the digital billboards.

"We have 16 strategically located across the market and a little over a million people a day have an opportunity to see the message," Condon said.

He swears even he doesn't know the name.

"Absolutely not," Condon said. "I'm not misleading you at all."

The billboards have changed every 24 hours since Sunday. They've mentioned the names Outlaws, Marshalls and Barons.

The team is not giving any interviews until tomorrow. As soon as the team name is announced at 5 p.m. Wednesday, the NBA store will be open and full of merchandise for sale.
