EDMOND, Okla. -- A simple purchase at a new Edmond store can save a child's life half a world away.

Walk into Adora, 33rd Street and Broadway Extension, for inexpensive women's accessories and walk out knowing you've helped fight global hunger.

"Every item in the store provides at least one meal to a child in need," said Adora owner Leslie Mason.

Adora donates a quarter of every purchase to the United Nations World Food Program. The store's donation doesn't require anything extra from customers.

"It cost very little to provide a meal for someone so if we can make that sacrifice then I think it sets the example for the rest of the country and for other people," said Adora co-owner Clete Ross.
