We have slick spots on the roadways this morning as freezing fog and light freezing drizzle continue to impact the state. Bridges and overpasses are the areas of most concern. Thick cloud cover and drizzle will continue for most of your Sunday. Highs today will be limited to the upper 20s and low 30s along and north of I-44. It will be a little warmer in the southeast today with highs climbing into the 40s.

A light winter mix of sleet and light snow is possible in northern Oklahoma late this evening with little to no accumulation expected, but will cause additional slick spots on the roadways.

Overnight tonight light snow is possible in northern Oklahoma with a light winter mix in the central parts of our state and light freezing drizzle to the south. Lows will drop into the teens and low 20s with wind chills in the single digits Monday morning. Bridges and overpasses could be icy for your Monday morning commute.

As we go through the day on Monday highs will be limited to the 20s with a light winter mix of freezing rain and sleet transitioning to flurries and light snow by late in the day. Accumulations will be on the low side, but it doesn't take much to cause problems on our roadways.

Snow totals by late Monday will amount to a trace for much of the state with highest totals in the far north and east where 1 to 2 inches is possible.

Be sure to stay tuned for the latest on timing and intensity of this next round of winter precipitation.
