Ron Stahl spent more than 30-years in the broadcast industry including stints at three radio stations and two television stations, and 18 years as an anchor/reporter for an Oklahoma City television station. His reports have been broadcast nationally on ABC, NBC and CNN. He has been honored for his work by the Associated Press, United Press International and The Society of Professional Journalists, Sigma Delta Chi. He was a member of a news team presented with the George Foster Peabody Award, one of broadcasting's highest awards, for coverage of the Oklahoma City bombing in 1995.
In 1998, he joined the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, where he is a feature reporter for ‘Discover Oklahoma,' the department's weekly television program. He serves as a spokesman for the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department, and promotes the state through public speaking engagements and public relations efforts.
