Indian man found dead in front yard

An Indian man was found dead in the front yard of a northwest-side home shortly after midnight Tuesday, Oklahoma City police said.

Phillip Gokool, 36, was found motionless in the front yard of 1543 NW 47 St. early this morning, police said. Officers quickly discovered he had been shot and called the fire department and emergency workers.

Gokook was pronounced dead at the scene.

No eye witnesses have come forward yet, police said, and no suspect information has been developed.
