Operation Boot Camp - Day 25

Today was grueling, but fun! Okay, so every day at Boot Camp is grueling but fun, but I especially enjoyed this workout. It was called the Centipede. It was broken into five distinct areas with different exercise forms.

First instructor Tracie had us run to an area where we lined up a few feet apart in a push-up hold. The person at the front of the line would get up and run to the top of the line, but by weaving in and out of those still on the ground. Once everyone was at the top, instructor Kat took us for a quick run. Then we went to another area where instructor Mark had us zig-zagged between some cones. Then we went to a grassy area where instructor Molly had us do various exercises, like full sit-ups. After that we went to a nearby building where instructor Scott gave us the "grueling" part. We had to lean against the building, but as if we were sitting in a chair. It was a killer on the thighs! We went through that cycle three or four times...I lost count. Each cycle had different exercises, and to me that's what made it fun.

Tomorrow is the last day of the July Boot Camp. I'm excited to do the one-mile run and see if I can beat my time from the first day. I also am curious to see if I've lost any pounds or inches. I see a huge difference already! My goal wasn't really to lose any weight, but to tone up. Believe me...I'm toning up! More importantly, I have more energy during the day and have built a lot of endurance.
