OKLAHOMA CITY - A man involved in an attempted abduction at Target Monday has been arrested.
A 16-year old girl told police a man pushed her into her car and told her he wanted a ride in the Target parking lot at Northwest Expressway and Rockwell Avenue.
She ran back in the store and he took off. Luckily, the suspect was no stranger to security officers at the store.
"The people who worked at Target, the loss prevention officers, through viewing the surveillance video they recognized this gentleman and said ‘I believe we've had dealings with him before.' So they were able to produce a name for officers," Oklahoma City Police Sgt. Jennifer Wardlow said.
Tuesday morning, police and Air-One swarmed an area near NW 43 Street and Western Avenue after a report the suspect might be nearby.
Police arrested 45-year-old James Hollenbeck around noon.
Officers said he walked away from the Oklahoma City Community Correctional Center at I-44 and Broadway Extension and never returned. Now, he could face kidnapping charges.
